In Which I Have Lots of Korra Thoughts: Mako and Korra

To help stave off my massive Korra withdrawal, I decided to go back and watch all of the episodes again, now with the benefit of hindsight.  I’m only 3 episodes in to the rewatch, but I’ve already noticed a lot of things (like a mini Tahno appearance!) that I missed the first time around.  It’s helped me sort out a lot of the interpersonal relationships/motivations for the characters, specifically Mako/Korra and Korra/Bolin.

For the record: I’ve previously identified as a Mako/Korra shipper, but now I sort of teeter between ‘I ship all the ships’ (which I do) and ‘I ship Bolin/Me’ (which I do).

Anyway, I watched the first three episodes and paid a loooot of attention to Korra and her interactions with Mako.  Here is what I concluded.  Brew some tea or something because this goes on awhile.
